1935 – 2003
SOUTH PORTLAND – Alice Mary Schools, 68, formerly of Mary Jane Road, Buxton, died on Nov. 19, at her daughter’s home in South Portland.
She was born in Farmington, June 24, 1935, a daughter of Joseph C. and Azelie (Richards) Landry. She attended Wilton schools and was a graduate of Wilton Academy.
She was a resident of Buxton for nearly 30 years and was a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Limerick. Mrs. Schools loved and served her beloved family.
She enjoyed the holidays and was especially fond of Christmas and Halloween. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and clowns, being around her family and friends and riding in her red sports car.
Her beloved husband, John Schools, passed away in 2000.
Survivors include a son, Robert Schools of Kinderhook N.Y.; three daughters, Joyce Dulac of Scarborough, Phyllis Biswell of Buxton and Norma Marchant of South Portland; five brothers, Joseph, Arthur, Albert, Richard and Dennis Landry; two sisters, Laura Thomason and Mary Landry; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
