SALEM – The Mt. Abram Booster Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Mt. Abram High School. Fund-raising and basketball concessions will be discussed. Parents and students are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Craft fair

FARMINGTON – The Farmington Emblem Club No. 460 is sponsoring a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Farmington Elks Lodge on School Street, West Farmington. For more information, call Quinnale Kinsey at 645-4274.

Wiltona club

WILTON – Wiltona Womens Club met Nov. 11 for the annual benefit tea at the Wilton Congregational Church. Ann Frary poured tea and coffee. Guests were Florence Pike, Betty Karkos, Gwen Sewall, Betty Mitchell and Ann Hagar.

Dr. Robert O’Reilly spoke about arthritis. Donations were given to the Alzheimer’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis associations.

Barbara Hathaway gave a report on the district meeting. The group will meet 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the home of Patty Joyce for a Christmas gathering. A potluck luncheon will be served and music provided by Beverly Ames.
