Reception for interim pastor
LEEDS – Members of the Leeds Community Church, a Presbyterian church, 127 Church Hill Road, will have a reception to introduce Stuart and Babbie Cameron at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. Stuart Cameron will serve as interim pastor to the church for the next year. Babbie will also have an active role within the church. Everyone is invited to attend.
Youth pastor to speak at church
LEWISTON – Doug Reed will speak on Sunday, Nov. 30, at the First Assembly of God Church, 70 Hogan Road. He will address the 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. services.
For the past 13 years Reed and his wife, Jeanne, have been serving as youth pastors. They have traveled all over the world on short-term missions and crusade ministries.

Tree lighting
set for Sunday
NEW GLOUCESTER – The Christmas tree lighting will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at the Town Hall, Lower Gloucester Village, Route 231. The event is sponsored by the New Gloucester Historical Society.
An Advent potluck supper will follow from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Gloucester Hill Road. There will be Advent activities for all ages. Those wishing to attend should bring a dish to share.Call 926-3260 or 926-4498 for more information.
Insurance Women plan meeting
AUBURN – The National Association of Insurance Women – Androscoggin Valley will meet Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Martindale Country Club, Beech Hill Road.
The meeting will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 5:45. There will be an ornament gift exchange for the holiday gathering. Additionally, members will collect household items and clothing donations to be delivered to New Beginnings.
