FRYEBURG – There will be an area ecumenical Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Fryeburg New Church, 4 Oxford St. All are welcome.

WATERFORD – The annual Hanging of the Greens will take place at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, during the morning service at the Waterford Congregational Church on Plummer Hill Road.

PARIS – The McLaughlin Garden staff will demonstrate how to make a lasting cranberry wreath from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at 97 Main St., South Paris. The $20 fee includes all materials to make one 12-inch wreath, and refreshments. To register, call 743-8820.
