1962 – 2003
BOSTON – Noella Daigle, 59, of Dresden died Thursday, Nov. 20, peacefully surrounded by family at Brigham & Women’s Hospital following a brief encounter with leukemia.
She married Lewellyn Daigle on April 23, 1962, in Connor’s, New Brunswick, Canada, and then moved to Randolph. In 1976 they settled in Dresden.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and memer’e. She was a homemaker raising her four children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren, spending time at their camp, hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing and shopping for her loved ones.
In 2000 she successfully fought breast cancer. She was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church in Richmond. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Lewellyn J. Daigle of Dresden; four children, Gail Daigle of Evanston, Ill., Jean Daigle and companion Rick Lemieux of Dresden, Mitchell Daigle and wife Heidi of Dresden, Peggy Whitman of Dresden; eight sisters, Linda Berube-Plainville, Conn., Jullette Dumond of Dresden, Florina Erickson and Theresa Saindon both of Fort Kent, Joan Kerr of Peakskill, N.Y., Viola Levesque of Fort Kent, Beaulah Ouellette of New Brunswick, Gloria Ouellette of Peakskill, N.Y.; four brothers, Archie Ouellette of Southington, Conn., Joel Ouellette, Sandy Ouellette, Silvio Ouellette all of New Brunswick, Canada; four grandchildren, Megan Daigle, Marc Daigle, Riley Whitmar, Robert Herbert all of Dresden; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
