PERU – Members of the Peru school board met in an executive session Monday night with selectmen to discuss legal issues pertaining to a neighborhood leach field.
The selectmen had asked the school board to attend the meeting in order to clarify questions of legal procedure that concern the land.
Adjacent to the elementary school’s basketball court, the land on which the leach field is located covers about 7,500 square feet. While the town holds the deed to the land, the school is named as its trustee.
