1946 – 2003

PORTLAND – Charles A. Swindler, 57, of Lisbon, passed on into glory land, Sunday, Nov. 23, in Portland.

He was born on April 23, 1946, in Columbia, S.C. He was self-employed as a painter and dedicated his life and work to the Lord.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Diane and one daughter, Margaret, both of Lisbon; two daughters, Trisha Quinley and Pam Shipes of Columbia; three sons, Anthony Gunnells of Lisbon, John and Lee Williams of South Carolina; two brothers; one sister; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
