I am saddened that a person could surmise that because we have heroes here at home that we may have turned our backs on our troops and our veterans. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most of us have someone we love fighting for our country. In my case, the person is a Marine.
While many people do not support the war, that does not mean that we don’t support the people fighting it. These people are also our heroes.
Because we have heroes at home protecting us does not take away anything from our troops. We have room and love in hearts for all.
