If Mainers think the vote of Nov. 4 closed the door forever to casinos, think again.

A famous Yankee baseball player once said something like “It ain’t over till it’s over!”

There is nothing for CasinosNO! or so-called Christians to brag about due to the vote outcome.

A priest and an old classmate says “a boaster and a liar are first cousins!” I wonder?

Can it be possible there should be shame and disgust for the dirty money produced and used by some to sway this vote?

Maine, the way life out to be. According to present statistics, 50,000 people between the ages of 18 and 31 left the state in the past 20 years and more, along with jobs, are still going.

Could it be possible Maine is not the place it ought to be unless you’re the elite rich and upper class?

Barry Dana, chief of the Penobscot Nation, doesn’t need this letter to defend his position taken in the guest column in this newspaper on Nov. 6.

A friend once reminded me that truth is so stubborn it doesn’t apologize to anybody.
