The idea for the DreamZpire Build-a-Light came while the company’s founder and president was playing with his two daughters in their bedroom one day. “I glanced at the ceiling fan in the center of the room and I couldn’t remember the last time the fan had actually been used,” he says. “Without the large fixture the center of the room would appear empty and plain, but I wondered what could be a more functional use of the space.” In his research he found that many parents wished their children’s bedroom lighting fixtures could be easily and affordably changed to match the room’s décor or theme so that their child would not grow out of it so quickly. “That ‘inspired’ me to invent DreamZpire,” he says.
