SOUTH PARIS – A. Ruth Moore, 75, of Norway, died Thursday, Nov. 27 at Market Square Health Care Center.

Born in Norway, Aug. 22, 1928, the daughter of Alton and Gladys Frost Noyes, she graduated from Norway High School. Mrs. Moore was employed at Norway Shoe Shop, Mecon Manufacturing and retired in 1994 from Town and Country Variety, now Millett’s Variety.

She married Arnold Moore on Feb. 1, 1948 and had lived in Norway all of her life. She was a member of the Chapter #163 Coachman Camping Club, serving as correspondent and chapter representative.

Survivors include: her husband of Norway; two daughters, Pamela Waterhouse and her husband, Alan, of Norway and Cheryl Tuttle of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren, Alan Waterhouse, Jr., Michelle Ledet, Kevin Tuttle and Catherine Woodworth; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda and Aryn; and several nieces and nephews.
