PORTLAND – Maine Rinck Advertising received top honors at the Portland Ad Club’s 2003 Broderson Awards Show. From a field of 374 entries in 20 categories ranging from television campaigns to Web site design to collateral material, the Rinck Advertising corporate identity picked up three awards including the People’s Choice Award, Brodie Gold for Corporate Identity and the Best of Show Award.
The Rinck Advertising corporate identity was the combined effort of creative directors and agency principals Peter Rinck and Laura Davis and art director Sue Schenning.
The corporate identity package includes a logo, position line, “You’re going to love what happens next” and stationary with the retro “Rinck Rocket” as its central theme.
A unique graphic feature, the business cards have several different designs.
“We wanted an identity that looks back as it also looks forward,” President Peter Rinck said.
“From the great days of advertising in the 1950s and 1960s to the promise of the future with all the modern advances and technologies. We’re gratified that the judges recognized the big idea.”
With more than 20 years of experience as an account executive, writer, creative director and media planner Peter Rinck has gathered together a team of creative, account and public relations professionals.
Vice President Laura Davis specializes in public relations, promotions, special events planning and education marketing.
Schenning, lead art director, brings 19 years’ of award winning design to the agency specializing in corporate identity, branding, packaging and promotions.
Rinck Advertising has a staff of 27 full- and part-time employees.
Rinck Advertising is located at 86 Main St., Auburn.
