A sewer system refund and winter maintenance are also set for discussion.

BETHEL – Selectmen are slated to discuss ongoing construction on the new fire station and related decisions at their 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the town office.

Other agenda topics include considering a request for a partial refund of a sewer system development charge, and authorizing a winter maintenance agreement for Sunday River Road with D.A. Wilson and Co., and municipal quitclaim deeds in the sale of tax-acquired properties.

Additionally, the board will discuss a communication from Jewel Clark referencing the intersection of Route 2 and the Parkway, consider amending the personnel policy regarding implementation of actual employee benefits changes, and review applications for appointment to town committees and board.

Under routine business, two public hearings are scheduled for liquor license renewals for Chosun restaurant and Liam’s Restaurant.
