NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Atlanta Thrashers and Nashville Predators made a minor trade Tuesday, swapping four young players.

The Predators acquired defenseman Kirill Safronov and forward Simon Gamache for defenseman Tomas Kloucek and forward Ben Simon.

Safronov, 22, has appeared in 35 NHL games over three seasons with Atlanta and Phoenix, scoring two goals and two assists.

Gamache, 22, has played in four NHL games with Atlanta in the last two seasons, and has one assist.

Kloucek, 23, appeared in five games with Nashville this season, and has one assist. Simon, 25, was with Milwaukee, the Predators’ affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Safronov and Gamache were assigned to Milwaukee.
