LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating the theft of a handbag Saturday from a vehicle parked at Central Plaza on Main Street.

A Livermore Falls’ woman reported the purse contained a checkbook, credit cards, driver’s license and other items, Livermore Falls police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
