Accidents
Lewiston

• A vehicle driven by Debbie Beaulieu, 35, of Lewiston, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Stacy L. White, 28, of Lewiston, while White was stopped in traffic at 7:25 a.m. Thursday on Sabattus Street. Damage to White’s 1998 Chevrolet was estimated at $2,000; to Beaulieu’s 1997 Chevrolet, $1,500.

• Vehicles driven by Barbara B. Moran, 42, and Paul A. Roux, 63, both of Lewiston, collided Thursday on Sabattus Street. Damage to Moran’s 1994 Ford was estimated at $4,500; to Roux’s 1999 Dodge, $4,000.

Auburn

• A vehicle driven by Scott Mondor, 29, of Turner, was struck by an unknown object that flew from an oil truck driven by Kevin Gammon, 41, of Buckfield, at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday on Summer Street. The object struck the windshield of Mondor’s vehicle, causing him to lose control and drive off the road, according to a police report. Damage to his 1992 Nissan was estimated at $3,000. There was no damage to the 1982 Harvester, driven by Gammon and owned by Murray Oil Co. of Turner.

• Randi Plummer, 42, of Poland, lost control of her vehicle and spun into a tree at 4:18 p.m. Thursday on Butler Hill Road. Damage to her 1991 Cadillac was estimated at $5,000.

• Vehicles driven by Peter P. Jonitis, 90, of Lewiston, and Bruce W. Allen, 52, of Auburn, collided at 8:22 a.m. Thursday at Great Falls Plaza. Damage to Jonitis’ 1998 Ford and to Allen’s 1998 Toyota was estimated at $2,000 each.
