LIVERMORE FALLS – Members of the Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens will have a Christmas meal at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The St. Rose Choir will provide entertainment and members should take a wrapped gift with no name on it for an exchange.

Sign-up for the ham dinner being served to the seniors on Dec. 22 also will be on Monday.

Robin Andrews spoke to the group on Monday, telling about nutrition and arthritis. A tote bag she donated was won by Lois Gordon. There were 40 members and one guest present.

Chairman Shirley Couture led the meeting and Mary Groleau led in singing of “Deck the Halls.” Secretary Alice DeMoras and Treasurer Marilyn DeSoto gave their reports. Listed as sick were Leda Slovak, Marie LeBlanc and Joyce Richard.

The weekly drawing was won by Dick Bryant and a banana bread donated by Marilyn DeSoto was won by Shirley Toncer.
