This is in response to Rolande Caron’s letter advocating same-sex marriage (Oct. 27). Homosexuality was and is still wrong.

Caron stated, “leave the Old Testament behind and start reading the teachings of Christ Jesus …”

The first three sentences in my last letter (Oct. 19) are the literal words of Christ Jesus and can be found in the book of Matthew. This is where Jesus Christ himself gives us God’s definition of marriage.

Also in the New Testament it is stated that homosexuality is “not natural” in the book of Romans; is the reason for God destroying the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in Jude; and is listed amongst several other sins that disqualify a person from inheriting the kingdom of God in Corinthians.
