LEWISTON – Members of the Lewiston-Auburn Veterans Council were on hand to greet American Legion National Commander John Breiden during his visit to Maine American Legion posts.
Breiden said, during his address, that he will work for veterans on the national level in his role as national commander. He urged all veterans to keep in close contact with their representatives on the national and state level involving legislation on behalf of veterans and their families.
William Rogers, past national commander of the American Legion, was also on hand, for the visit.
