NEW SHARON – A Christmas cantata, Let All Heaven and Nature Sing, will be presented at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14, at the New Sharon United Methodist Church. The cantata was created by Randy Vader and Jay Rouse and orchestrated by Kirk Campland.
This is the 36th consecutive year that the New Sharon community has had a cantata. This group of 20 singers consists of the host church choir, friends of the church and members of the North Vienna United Methodist Church.
Jayne Browning is directing the production. Bill and Fran Fox are in charge of the printed programs. Ushers will be Ann and Norm Foss. Handling the technical aspects will be Cyndi Pratt. Roger Smith will videotape the evening’s events and the Rev. Mariott Churchill, pastor of the church, will be the narrator. Ladies of the Women’s Society will provide light refreshments after the cantata.
