WILTON – Opal V. Donnell, 66, of Jay, died peacefully Sat., Dec. 6, at the home of her loving brother, Sanford McCrillis, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 2, 1937, in Jay, a daughter of Earl and Leona (Spencer) McCrillis.
She married Raymond “Skeet” Donnell and had two sons Raymond, Jr. and Dana Mason. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren, family and friends.
She is survived by: a son, Dana and his wife, Lisabeth, and their children, Caroline and Benjamin; two brothers, Sanford and Richard McCrillis; two sisters, Hazel Hayman and Arlene Jones. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a brother, Gerald McCrillis, and an infant son, Raymond Donnell, Jr.
