RANGELEY – Rangeley’s Jim Goodwin drained 22 points as the Lakers rolled past North Yarmouth Academy 66-54 in Tuesday boys’ basketball action.

Tim DeLuca scored a game-high 24 points for NYA.

Rangeley (2-0) placed four players in double digits.

Gould 59, Baxter 19

PORTLAND – Whitney Stowell and Ian Siekman each drained 14 points as Gould rolled past Baxter School 59-19.

Quinn McAllister chipped in 12 points for the Huskies (1-1).

Gorham 66, Poland 33

POLAND – Kurt Randall sank 14 points as Gorham beat Poland 66-33 in WMC action.

Ben Thayer chipped in 12 points, including 10 coming in the second half to help propel the Rams (2-0).

Kyle Purington knocked down a game-high 17 points and had 10 rebounds for the Knights (0-2).

Jon Lecznar added nine points and 18 rebounds, while Alex Smith scored 10 points for Poland.

St. Dom’s 38, Yarmouth 27

YARMOUTH – Ian Pullen and Nate Hamlyn each scored 11 points and Chris Rainville added 10 to lead St. Dom’s to a 38-27 WMC win over Yarmouth.

St. Dom’s (2-0), which routed Traip at home on opening night in conference play, held Yarmouth to nine points in the second half.

Buckfield 54, Waynflete 41

PORTLAND – With a balanced team effort, Buckfield slipped past Waynflete 54-41 in Class D competition.

Tristan Brackett notched a game-high 14 points for the Bucks (1-1). Jamie Henderson added 10 points. Harry Hayes was solid on defense to help secure the win. Lance Callender sank 12 for Waynflete (0-2).

Wells 62, Gray-NG 45

WELLS – Brandon Hodsdon drained 17 points as Wells defeated Gray-New Gloucester 62-45 in WMC action.

Aaron Vourre chipped in 14 points, while Jeff Brown and Tyler Stevens each had 10 for the Warriors (2-0). Mike Amergian paced the Patriots (0-2) with 13 points.
