SOUTH PARIS – The Western Maine Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network is holding an evening on the art of networking Jan. 8 at El Dorado Restaurant on Main Street.

Debby Hoffman will speak on Natural Networking. The program will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Registration is $5, payable at the door.

The session will focus on creating business relationships through the art of networking where attitude is everything. The fun, fast-paced program is filled with ideas on what networking is and what it is not. Hoffman will teach how to start conversations and keep them interesting and profitable, and how to build a sales force through leads and referrals.

Hoffman is the president of Positive Results Seminars. Her programs reflect her mission statement: to help people see the possibilities within themselves and create the results they want. An entrepreneur for over 24 years, she has created an advertising specialty company, worked as a membership development manager in a local chamber of commerce in New Hampshire, produced numerous networking events and given seminars across the country on topics such as Networking and Living up to Your Potential.

Other women’s networking events are:

• Feb. 10, 7:30 to 9 a.m, Fun & Fitness, Trolley House, Main Street, Norway

• March 9, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., speaker to be announced, Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge, Harrison.

Cost for all events is $5 per person, payable at the door.
