ROCKLAND – John S. Taylor, 89, husband of Lelia Marstaller, died peacefully Monday, Nov. 24.
He was a former selectman for the town of Sumner and former manager for the towns of Bridgewater, Hermon and Thomaston. He was an active member of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra.
He is survived by his wife of Rockland; one son, Stephen Taylor of Freeport; one daughter, Kathleen Nace of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister; and three grandchildren.
