OXFORD – The 23rd annual Live Nativity will be presented at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, in front of the Oxford Advent Christian Church on Route 26.

The 40-minute pageant presents the story of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem from the announcement by angels to the shepherds to the stable visit by the wise men.

More than 50 costumed people will play roles, and there will be live animals, a stable, inn and a sheep pen.

The public is invited to attend the presentation free of charge. A meal of fish and clam chowders, biscuits and cupcakes will be served to the public in the church dining hall after the performance. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost.
