HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Dominic Moore scored 1:22 into overtime to give the Hartford Wolf Pack a 3-2 victory over the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League Sunday.

Moore scored his second overtime winner of the season after Cory Larose stole a pass by Colin Forbes. Moore faked Rastislav Stana to the ice and shot a backhander that trickled in over the goal line.

Hartford got short-handed goals from Chad Wiseman and Paul Healey in taking a 2-1 lead, but Andrej Podkonicky scored off Mike Souza’s rebound with 6:17 left in the second period to tie the game.

Garret Stroshein’s first goal of the season off a 2-on-1 with Forbes gave the Pirates a 1-0 lead 2:43 into the game.

Stana had 35 saves for the Pirates (9-14-1-3), who are 0-5 against the Wolf Pack while being outscored 15-5.

Phil Osaer made 26 saves to win his third in a row for the Wolf Pack.
