1925 – 2003
LEWISTON – Norman L. Stone Sr., 78, of 100 Campus Ave., Lewiston, died Sunday, Dec. 14, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born in Auburn, April 30, 1925, the son of Louis and Emilia Pelletier Stone, he was educated locally.
He was employed for many years as a cook in several area restaurants. In the summers he enjoyed going to the coast, especially Boothbay Harbor and Old Orchard Beach and in the winter he loved to go snowmobiling and belonged to several local snowmobiling clubs, including Family Rides, the Lisbon Snowmobile Club and the Gypsy Riders.
Survivors include his wife, the former Alice Touchette of Lewiston; a son, Norman Jr. of Lewiston; a daughter, Elizabeth Lemieux of Augusta; two grandchildren, Marcel Cloutier and Shelia Cloutier; and several nieces and nephews.
