WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Kate Pierangeli scored 21 points and pulled down six assists to lead fifth-ranked Scranton University to a 73-51 victory over Colby College at the Cruizin Classic Wednesday.

Colby, which trailed 31-22 at halftime, recieved nine points apiece from Alanna Balboni, Laura Williamson and Cassie Green. Molly Rice added six points and five rebounds.

Hockey

Leavitt 4, Winn-Dale 1

HALLOWELL- Justin Roulard punched in the winning goal at 13:05 left in the matchup to lead Leavitt to a 4-1 victory over Winn-Dale in hockey action Wednesday afternoon.

Roulard also went on to score later in the period.

For Winn-Dale’s (2-2) effort, Nate Frechette scored unassisted at 10:50 in the second period.
