AUBURN – The Marston’s Corner Baptist Church will hold a Christmas program at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at the church, corner of Beech Hill and Hotel roads.

Post meeting
LISBON – Coombs-Mountfort Post 158, American Legion, and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the post. All members are invited.
Holiday skate
AUGUSTA – The Christmas Skate has been rescheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Roller-Skate.
Those attending should bring a canned good or nonperishable food item to help the Bread of Life Kitchen. They will qualify for a grand prize drawing.
Special services
HEBRON – The annual Christmas Eve service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the Hebron Community Baptist Church, earlier than usual.
Guest organist Forest Perkins will play the newly dedicated Estey reed organ, filling the 1820 sanctuary with music. The chancel choir and soloists, including Nancy Valliere, soprano, and Darlene Morrill, alto, will perform.
At the conclusion of the candlelighting and singing of “Silent Night,” all are invited for refreshments in the vestry.
Family service
CASCO – The Casco Village Church will hold a family Christmas service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the church, Route 121. The youth choir will sing and the Rev. Joyce Long will lead the worship.
A candlelight communion service will be held at 11 p.m. Christmas Eve featuring the choir. All are invited.
Annual service
TURNER – The Turner Center Universalist Church will hold its annual candlelight service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve at the church. The program is under the direction of Dr. Larry Catlett and will include songs by the church choir and the Sunday school children. At the end of the program everyone will be encouraged to join in singing a medley of Christmas songs.
Holiday party
LEWISTON – The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church will hold its eighth annual Christmas party at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the church headquarters, 291 Bates St. It is open to area children age 6 and up. There will be caroling, refreshments and gifts.
A movie, “The Legend of the Candy Cane,” will be shown. Douglas Taylor, ministry director, will present a message, “It Sometimes Hurts to Give.” Rides are available. Call Sonia at 786-5568 for details.
