Accidents
Lewiston

• John H. Dubuc, 56, of Minot, lost control of his vehicle and slid into a Verizon utility pole, shearing it in half, at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on West Auburn Road. Dubuc’s vehicle then skidded across both lanes of the roadway, coming to rest approximately 300 feet from the pole, according to a police report. Damage to his 2004 Honda was estimated at $10,000; to the Verizon pole, $2,000.

• Vehicles driven by Sterling G. Deleware, 60, of Bradley, and Valarie A. Levasseur, 49, of Auburn, collided at 9:47 p.m. Saturday on Minot Avenue. Damage to Deleware’s 2002 Chevrolet was estimated at $1,200; to the 2000 Jeep, driven by Levasseur and owned by Randy’s Auto Parts, $1,000.

Auburn

• Vehicles driven by Katie J. Capponi, 20, of Lewiston, and Penny S. Myrick, 40, of Auburn, collided at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Lisbon and Essex streets. Damage to Capponi’s 1993 Ford was estimated at $3,000; to Myrick’s 2001 Chevrolet, $2,500.
