1954-2003

LEWISTON – Ronald A. Blanchette, 49, of 29 Rosedale St., died Sunday, Dec. 21, at his home of cancer with his family at his side.

He was born in Rochester, N.H., July 7, 1954 the son of Armand and Theresa Jacques Blanchette. He was married Sept. 25, 1976, to Rita Caron, and prior to his illness was employed as a machinist at Future Guard Building Products in Lewiston. He enjoyed boating, fishing, water skiing and working with his hands and helping everyone.

He is survived by: his wife of Lewiston; a daughter, Stephanie Blanchette of Lewiston; two sons, Chad Caron and wife, Crystal, of Lewiston and Ronald Blanchette, Jr. and his fiancée, Heather Cash, of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Aaron and Alexis Caron; a brother, William Blanchette and wife, Susan, of Somersworth, N.H.; and three sisters; also nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law.
