Mt. Blue 66, Leavitt 40
FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue’s Christina Mosher drained 16 points as the Cougars pound the Hornets 66-40 in KVAC girls basketball action on Tuesday night. Ashley Naylor scored a team high nine points for Leavitt (0-4).
Amy Manfir also pitched in with 12 for Mt. Blue (1-3).
Hall-Dale 57, Jay 56 (2OT)
JAY – Hall-Dale’s Caitlyn Laflin scored a game-high 21 points as the Bulldogs slip past Jay in double overtime.
Kaylie Demillo and Heather Johnson combined for 33 points for the Jay effort. Chelsy Dionne als added 18 for Hall-Dale.
Lawrence 56, Edward Little 42
FAIRFIELD – Holly Noyes poured 21 points into the net to pace Lawrence to a 56-42 win over Edward Little in a girls’ KVAC hoops matchup Tuesday evening. Allie Marshall chipped in for the Bulldogs (2-2) with 10 points and seven assists.
Michelle Bernier led the Red Eddies (0-4) with an 11-point performance, while Brittany French tallied 10. Edward Little held a 24-19 advantage at the half, but the Bulldogs roared back with a 21-point third quarter and took command from there.
Telstar 40, Winthrop 32
WINTHROP – Jillian Kimball and Krystal Gould tallied nine points apiece Tuesday to pace Telstar to a 40-32 victory over Winthrop. Chea Davis chipped in for the Rebels (3-4) with eight points in the win.
Emilie Knight led the Ramblers (1-6) with a 10-point performance, while Lindsay Laflamme and Renee St. Hilaire chipped in with eight points each. The Rebels held a 22-15 advantage at the half then held on for the win.
Dirigo 44, Georges Valley 35
THOMASTON – Dirigo’s Michelle Holmquist drained 11 points for a team high as Dirigo (6-0) beats Georges Valley 44-35 in MVC girls’ basketball action. Britta Sturks scored a game-high 18 points for Georges Valley (1-5).
Maranacook 76, Oak Hill 36
WALES – Toby Martin cashed a game high 17 points as Maranacook (6-0) pounds Oak Hill (1-6) 76-36 in a KVAC girls’ basketball match up. Oak Hill’s Amber Champman scored a team high 13 points and pulled down 13 revounds.
