RUMFORD – The third annual Matt Gaudet Mountain Valley Alumni Day will take place at the Mountain Valley Middle School, the former Mexico High School, on Highland Terrace on Saturday, Dec. 27.

This change in location is due to leaks in a gym roof. All games and events will take place as originally planned, with seven games starting at 9 a.m.

The Rumford Area Rotary Club and Mountain Valley Sports Boosters are announcing this last-minute change.

Special pickup for flood victims

CANTON – The town of Canton will have door-to-door trash pickup for flood area victims and flood debris only on Saturday, Dec 27.

Debris must be placed on the side of road for easy pickup. Help loading the debris would be appreciated.
