1927 – 2003

LEWISTON – Lorraine J. Morin, 76, of 211 Randall Rd., Lewiston, died Friday, Dec. 26, at Russell Park Manor, following a long illness.

She was born in Auburn on Aug. 10, 1927, and was educated in local schools.

She was employed for many years as a stitcher in the local shoe industry.

On April 26, 1947, she married Richard R. Morin at Ss. Peter and Paul Church.

A member of Holy Family Parish, she enjoyed wintering in Florida, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

An avid golfer, she belonged to the Turner Highlands Golf Club, the Bay Dunes Golf Club in Panama City, Fla., and the Nature Walk Golf Club, Lynn Haven, Fla.

She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Saint Mary’s Hospital.

Survivors include her husband of Lewiston; two brothers, Roger and his wife Lavonne Tardif of Bonifay, Fla., and Leo and his wife Therese Tardif of Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Gracienne Poulin of Lewiston, and Mrs. Lucille Hobbs of Old Orchard Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
