Book discussion

NORWAY – A book discussion on “Artemis Fowl” by Eoin Colfer will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursdays beginning Jan. 15, at the Norway Memorial Library on Main Street. The activity following this book will involve children breaking codes of their own.

Basket bingo

LOCKE MILLS – A Longaberger basket bingo will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Jackson Silver American Legion Post off Route 26 in Locke Mills. Doors open at 11 a.m. Tickets are is $10 for 16 bingo games available in advance. A light lunch and snacks will be available. Included will be door prizes, raffle baskets and consolation prizes.
