BUCKFIELD – All the rain that Oxford County received did not impede the Buckfield Junior/Senior High School concert.
Aaron Brotherton and Josh Preston performed to a crowd of parents and students on Thursday evening, Dec. 18. Prior to that students held their holiday concert. They performed for various classes at the high school throughout the day. for various classes.
Brotherton is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter. Preston, a Downeast Maine native, is a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y.
They performed at this year’s sold-out Farm Aid Benefit Concert in Columbus, Ohio, for nearly 10,000 concertgoers and recently did a live national broadcast for Siruis Satellite Radio’s Sirius Sessions from New York.
Mike Prescott, school music teacher, was responsible for putting the concert together.
