1936 – 2003

BRANFORD, Conn. – David J. Stevens, 67, of 779 Middletown Ave., North Haven, Conn., died Monday, Dec. 29, at the CT Hospice. He was the husband of Janine Othot Stevens.

He was born in Bethel, Aug. 7, 1936, the son of Bertha Herrick Stevens of Bethel and the late Clyde A. Stevens. He had worked in Home Improvements for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed caring for his grandchildren, raising monarch butterflies and was an avid photographer.

Survivors include his children, Mark (Tina) Stevens of North Haven, and Susan Stevens of Niantic, Conn.; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kara Stevens; five sisters, Charlotte (Albion) Rowe of Raymond, Beatrice Hicks of Gardiner, Christine (Roy) Ulrickson of Norway, Florence Walker of Bryant Pond, Cheryl Young of Bethel; and a brother, Paul Stevens of Rumford.
