LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen will open their 6:30 p.m. meeting Monday with a public hearing on the renewal of two automobile graveyard licenses.

The licenses are held by Richard Castonguay on Campground Road and George Allen off Route 133.

Following the hearing the board will act on the applications, discuss the ambulance service with Franklin Memorial Hospital and discuss a spending freeze on operating budgets. They will also revisit the matter of a tax abatement requested by J. Peter and Kellee Riordan. The board was unable to act on the request at the last meeting as only three members were present and the vote was 2-1.

Since it is actually a five-member board, although operating with four members, any action must be by a majority of three vote.

Selectmen will discuss a possible safe routes grant for sidewalks and crossings near schools, consider appointing Betty Nadeau to the Board of Appeals and sign a quit claim deed.

The meeting will close with an executive session for the town manager’s evaluation.
