1930 – 2003
LEWISTON – Erwine “Johnny” Lothrop, 73, a 30-year resident of Ridge Road in Chesterville, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at CMMC.
Born in Fayette, Jan. 31, 1930, the son of Clemmet and Grace Brown Lothrop, he attended the schools of Fayette and Mt. Vernon.
In 1972 he married Jennie Tweedie Clark. She passed away on Aug. 24, 2001. “Johnny” worked as a woodsman, a farmer and also at Bass Shoe Co. in Wilton, retiring in 1986.
He loved to spend time with his friends listening to country music.
Survivors include a son, Dan Brown and his wife, Alicia of Fayette; a stepdaughter, Cindy Cook of East Wilton; two grandchildren, Willie and Kayla Brown of Fayette; his close friend, Steve Mitchell of Fayette; and friends, Kamaran and Scott Currier of Chesterville.
