BRIDGTON – Bridgton Public Library hosts a popular Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club for Teens every month. Teens and children interested in science fiction and fantasy books are welcome to join.

Created last July by acting Youth Services Librarian Marilyn Starck and led by Moderator Lee Scarlett, a variety of authors in this popular category include J. K. Rowling, Piers Anthony, Garth Nix and Tamora Pierce.

The club’s next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Children’s Room. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
