BRIDGTON – Bridgton Public Library hosts a popular Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club for Teens every month. Teens and children interested in science fiction and fantasy books are welcome to join.

Created last July by acting Youth Services Librarian Marilyn Starck and led by Moderator Lee Scarlett, a variety of authors in this popular category include J. K. Rowling, Piers Anthony, Garth Nix and Tamora Pierce.

The club’s next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Children’s Room. For more information on this and other activities for youth at Bridgton library, call Marilyn at 647-2472 during regular library hours. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
