WILTON – Finders/Seekers Childcare Resource Development Center will sponsor a foundations of center-based care workshop for child care providers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Community Concepts Inc., Head Start Building, 284 Main St. The fee is $10.

A two-part series on weaving diversity with children will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Jan. 13 to Jan. 22, at the Head Start office in the Bass Building. The fee is $10.

Ministry events

PHILLIPS – The Phillips Shared Ministry will have weekly bible study and discussion groups starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Shadagee. The public is invited. On Friday, Jan. 16, there will be a family fun night starting a 5:30 at the Phillips United Methodist Church. Anyone is invited to bring a favorite game. On Saturday, Jan. 17, there will be a take out bean supper. Each meal for four will include a quart of baked beans, a pint of coleslaw, rolls and a choice of apple or pumpkin pie for $12.
