AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a Microsoft Office XP Preview (CPT 001-01) from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Kirk Hall. The cost is $25.
The preview will cover the basic programs in Microsoft Office XP (2002), including Excel, Word and Access.
“Most people don’t understand how they can save time by creating a spreadsheet in Excel versus a table in Word or the benefits of a database in Access. This preview will explain the differences and provide answers to your questions about the programs,” said Michelle Lefebvre, corporate training coordinator.
The class will be taught by Ken O’Brien. O’Brien owns a computer consulting company in Woolwich and specializes in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Web design.
