PARIS – Finders/Seekers Childcare Resource Development Center will offer a three-hour training course for childcare providers to complete their portfolio for college credit.

Training will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Community Concepts Inc. at Market Square, South Paris. Cost is $10. To register, call 1-800-543-7008.

Bridge results

NORWAY – Bridge results for Jan. 2 games have been announced.

All bridge players are welcome for a fun session of bridge at 9 a.m. Fridays at the Fare Share Food Coop, 443 Main St. The next game will be Friday, Jan. 9.

Public forum

NORWAY – A public interest forum on air, water and disease will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Norway Memorial Library, Main Street.

Local health care providers and educators, members of Western Maine Citizens for Clean Air and Water, including Jenny Orr and Terry Martino, will provide the program, including the video, “Cancer Valley.”

Yoga classes

HARRISON – Classes in depth yoga will be starting up on Monday, Jan. 12, with an eight-week session going through March 1. Created by holistic therapist Paula Gates, this approach focuses on using the body’s wisdom to guide practitioners toward increased physical and personal awareness. The class will be taught from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Ballroom on Main Street.
