FARMINGTON – Police are looking for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday by her mother.
Police believe that Stephanie Castro left her Ramsdell Road home voluntarily, officer Nathan Reid said.
Castro is 5-foot, 2 inches and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and wears glasses she really can’t see without.
The girl had run away a month prior, Reid said. Police found her at a friend’s house in Jay then.
Reid said he questioned Castro’s 16-year-old boyfriend, who lives with his parents in Wilton and he didn’t know where Castro is.
Reid also checked with Castro’s friends and at the Jay residence where she was found earlier. She wasn’t there.
The Mount Blue High School student was last seen in her pajamas.
Reid said a picture of Castro has been sent to police departments in attempts to find the teen.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmington Police Department at 778-6311.
