LEWISTON – The Y-Ettes will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the YWCA, East Avenue. Melissa Kay of Skowhegan, a senior at Bates College, will give a talk about her semester at Montpellier, France.

AUBURN – Fidelity Rebekah Lodge 4 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Odd Fellows Hall, corner of Elm and Academy streets. Members will honor the founders, Schuyler Colfax and Thomas Wildey.

Annual meeting
AUBURN – Tranquil Lodge will hold a stated and annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Auburn Masonic Hall, Turner Street.
Reports will be read covering activities during the year 2003.
There will be a supper served at 6:30 p.m. in the dining hall. All Master Masons are welcomed to attend.
Club Richelieu
AUBURN – Club Richelieu International’s local chapter will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Rolandeau’s Restaurant, 775 Washington St.
Topic will be the Richelieu district meeting in Auburn in April. President Roger Mailhot will inform members on the preparations. Members and guests are invited.
PNG supper
AUBURN – The Androscoggin Valley PNG’s Association will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St.
A potluck supper will be served at 6:30. Supper Committee members are Suzanne O’Connor, Debbie Smith and Sally Wentworth.

LEWISTON – Mary Dillingham Chapter, DAR, officers and committee chairwomen will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the home of Millie Berube, Webber Avenue, for preparation of annual reports. Members should bring a lunch.
Guest speaker
LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the meeting room and archives, 9 Union St.
Merton Ricker, a retired Lisbon High School English teacher, will discuss the granges in Lisbon as well as the changes over the years.
The free program is open to the public.
Robin Dow
AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the American Legion Hall. Washington Street. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m.
There will be the usual raffle table and all donated items for it will be appreciated. Dues for the year are payable in January. Following the meeting and a bag lunch the new officers for the year will be installed.
Eighty-one members attended the annual Christmas dinner party on Dec. 10 at the Ramada when each woman present received a corsage and the men received a boutonniere made by member Eleanor Jewel.
Musical entertainment was provided by Side by Side. Pot of gold winners were Doris Michaels, Caroline Chapman, James Lutz, Lucille Welch, Charles Jones, Eleanor Jewel, Guy Donahue, Leigh Whittle and Lee Koss. The party was given under the direction of Audrey Fleming, president.
Firefighters
AUBURN – The Androscoggin County Firefighters Association will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Auburn Fire Station, Minot Avenue.
Bridge tourney
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners of the special Sectional Tournament at Clubs Game at the Multi-Purpose Center on Jan. 6 were: first, Claire Lyons and Maude Abbott; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Randy Silver; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; fourth, Alberta Turner and Connie Simpson; fifth, Allie Boyer and Charles Bartlett; sixth, Mary Leahey and Luke Merry.
Winners of the STaC Game at Schooner Estates in Auburn on Jan. 7 were: first, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace; second, Patricia Garcia and Jeanine Kivus; third, Helen Little and Anna Vitiello; fourth, Connie and Ron Reynolds; fifth, John Hackett and Ray Sirois.
