RANGELEY – Mark Gaudette exploded for 23 points, including five 3-pointers, and P.J. Mathieu added 11 points to lead Valley to a 93-20 win over Rangeley in Class D basketball action Friday evening.

The Cavaliers (6-0) jumped out to a commanding 16-6 lead after the first quarter and were never challenged the rest of the way.

St. Dom’s 45, Traip 43

KITTERY – Chris Rainville drained a team-high 13 points and Ian Pullen added 10 points as St. Dom’s held on for a 45-43 win over Traip to remain unbeaten in WMC basketball action Friday evening.

The Saints (7-0) came back from a 31-29 deficit at the end of the first half.

Mike Scott led Traip with a game-high 26 points, including eight 3-pointers.

Oxford Hills 75, Messalonskee 58

OAKLAND- Corey Tiellenen poured in 28 points and dominated the boards to carry Oxford Hills to a 75-58 victory over Messalonskee.

Leif Kothe also tallied 11 points for the Vikings (7-0).

John Fisher and Bob Kendrick each scored 11 points for the Eagles (5-1).
