RUMFORD – Audrey Gloria Brann, 70, of 51 Orchard St., Mexico, died Friday, Jan. 9, at Rumford Community Hospital.
Born in Jonesport, Dec. 14, 1933, a daughter of Orlan and Goldie Wood Pettegrow, she was educated in Rumford schools.
Audrey worked in many area shoe shops, but retired from Fosters Inc. Manufacturing after 20 years of service in 1999. Audrey enjoyed playing cards, she was an avid Wheel of Fortune watcher, and never hesitated to give a helping hand when needed.
She is survived by: two daughters, Bonnie Clement and husband, George, of Rumford, and Connie (Constance) Arsenault and husband, Jim (Joseph), of Mexico; three sons, Ronnie (Ronald) Brann of Mexico, Lonnie (Loando) Brann and wife, Catherine, of Dixfield, and Donnie (Donald) Brann and companion, Pam, of Rumford; her companion of many, many years Bernard (Slugger) Desjardins of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Brann and husband, Isadore, of Dixfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers George and Eric Pettegrow.
