LEWISTON – Bates College’s Vanessa WIlliamson, a former standout for the Edward Little swim team, won three events, setting two pool records along the way.

But it wasn’t enough as the Bobcats fell to Middlebury College women’s swiming and diving team, 160-132.

Williamson broke her own pool record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.35. She later set the record in the 100 individual medley with a time of 1:03.01, and won the 100 fly.
