AUBURN – Auburn Youth Hockey Northeast Plastic Surgery Squirts travel team earned a pair of victories during the weekend. Auburn beat Casco Bay 4-2 as Dylan Nadeau and Jordan Haskell each collected 2 goals and an assist. Other assist-makers were Mariah Mosher, Drew Lupardo (3) and Brenden Giambra. . . Haskell registered 2 more goals and an assist as Auburn nipped Berlin Travelers 5-4. Also lighting the lamp were Nadeau, Nathan Bergeron and Lupardo. Credited with assists were Nadeau, Bergeron, Giambra and Mosher. Goalie Jameson Finch made 26 saves each game.

Lee Auto Mall Squirts handed Waterville its first loss of the season Sunday, 6-5. Jared Pelletier and Elijah Lamothe each netted 2 goals. Adding 1 each were Lauren Ratsep and Jared Lapierre. Receiving assists were Nick Labbe, Brady Lare and Lamothe. Jordan Rouillard was the winning goalie. Sam Dexter notched a hat trick for Waterville. Travis St. Pierre scored the other 2 goals and assisted on 2 others. Ben Roy tended net.

The Auburn Peewees went 1-0-1 during weekend action. Auburn squeezed out a 4-3 win over Western Maine Saturday. Matt Reed tallied 2 goals and Erik Wisutskie and Joshua Prue 1 each. Assists went to Prue, Matt Cote, Elizabeth Barclay and Zachary Daigle. Jacob Lapierre donned the pads. . . Sunday, Auburn and Gray-New Gloucester skated to a 5-5 tie. Prue netted 2 goals. Daigle, Reed and Wisutskie all had a goal and an assist. Cody Russell was also credited with a helper. Goalie Cody Violette made 10 saves. Gray-NG goalie Nick Roy stopped 32 shots.

Lewiston Area League

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Peewee Pirates picked up 2 wins during the weekend. Brian Lagasse registered a hat trick as the Pirates outlasted Winslow 8-6. Ryan Urquhart popped 2 goals. Adding 1 each were Patrick Collins, Nick Urquhart and Josh Smith. Receiving assists were Lagasse (2), Nick Urquhart, Collins and Drew Bent. . . Lagasse again scored 3 goals as Lewiston blanked Rockport 6-0. Nick Urquhart, Bent and Eagan Nadeau were the other scorers. Bent had 2 assists and Reece Teixeira 1. Willie Tyner and Logan Van Vlack were solid in net both games.

Gray-NG/Poland wins

Matt McLeod and Ben Piper each popped 2 goals as Gray-New Gloucester/Poland defeated Marshwood 8-3 in youth hockey action Sunday night. Adding a goal apiece were Gardner Lajoie, Brent Landry , Jarred Murphy and Codie Keene. Assists went to Joey Davie, Seth Champagne and Cam Penney. Sean Bilodeau and Nick Roy shared the net duties.
