LIVERMORE – Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the hall, the Ralph Wright Memorial Building at 284 Federal Road. Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m. before the meeting. Thomas Wilday, the founder of the order, will be honored and a game party will be held following the regular meeting. Hilda Corkum and Mildred Wright will serve as hostesses.
Grange supper
CHESTERVILLE – The Chesterville Grange will offer a public baked bean supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at the grange hall. The menu includes beans, chop suey, casseroles, salads, biscuits and homemade pie. Adults, $6; children, $3.
King service
FARMINGTON – The Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Memorial Service starting at noon Monday, Jan. 19, at Trinity United Methodist Church on Route 2 East. Meeting set
TEMPLE – The Franklin County Firemen’s Association will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Temple Town Hall. County firefighters, guests and interested people are invited to attend. The regular business meeting will be followed by the guest speaker, refreshments and a drawing for door prizes. Representation from all departments is requested.
